Scott Embree
Courier Manager

Scott Embree is originally from the Rocky Mountain West where he attended the University of Wyoming, surveyed for the Adolph Coors Company, and then owned and operated his Land Surveying / Engineering Company in Denver for 15 years.

In 1990 Scott decided to trade snow for palm trees by moving from Colorado to Florida. Settling in Destin in 2000, he started and eventually sold his very successful Hurricane Shutter business.

Scott is married to Patricia, who has remained a loyal SETCO team member since 2001. They have 4 children and 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Fred Radcliffe
Courier

Fred relocated to Fort Walton Beach from Colorado to become the Administrator of a residential facility for individuals with developmental disabilities. He retired from the mental health business after 40 years of providing services to folks with a variety of mental health issues. Fred elected to continue living at the beach and began a new chapter of this life with Southern Comfort Couriers. Fred is a graduate of Old Dominion University and the University of North Carolina. Fred also served in the U.S. Army and is a Vietnam veteran.

Vic DeSantis

Vic DeSantis relocated to the Emerald Coast from Michigan where he worked in the Publishing Industry for 30 years. He has been married to Donna for 40 years and they have two daughters, Natalie and Angel. Vic served in the US Army and is a Vietnam Veteran. He enjoys golfing, reading and an occasional trip to Las Vegas.

Cheri Self

Prior to joining Southern Comfort, Cheri Self was a courier with another company for 15 years. She has lived in Fort Walton Beach since 1965 when her military father transferred her family to the area. Cheri and Tim have shared 28 wonderful years together with Meisha, their child-like Shih tzu. When she’s not working at Southern Comfort, Cheri enjoys crafts, cooking and gardening. Her latest passions are painting birdhouses and bird watching. Cheri is a simple woman with a great love of nature and Southern Comfort is happy to have her on our team.

Sam Davis

Sam Davis was born and grew up in Vermilion, Ohio, about 60 miles west of Cleveland (Cedar Point Area). Sam joined the USAF right after graduation of high school in 1971. He spent eight years in the military in the law enforcement career field. His first duty station was at Hurlburt Field, FL. He fell in love with the area as well as his wife, Sharon, of 42 years. He has spent the last 15 years in the pest control industry and enjoys meeting people and find working as a courier allows him this opportunity. He and Sharon have one son, Todd, two grandchildren, Haley, 17 and Blake, 14.
